STARTER MOTOR BUSHINGS:

The bushings have the role of bearing, i.e. they absorb the traction between the rotor and the support.

They are built in Bronze to keep them at a low temperature and improve performance. Many on the market are made of brass, which however we do not recommend.

Being an element that absolutely must not rotate for more than a minute, only for ignition but with a lot of power, we decided to have them built with a higher quality.

To replace them you have to disassemble the whole motor, taking advantage of a complete maintenance, we recommend greasing both inside and outside the bush.

STARTER MOTOR BRUSHES:

The brushes have the task of transmitting voltage to the rotor, which in turn changes polarity as it rotates.

They must be of a resistant material but not more than the collector where they work, to avoid damaging the armature (much more expensive).

They are pushed by a spring, they must adhere perfectly to the rotating part, therefore the more they are worn and the more the spring changes tension, you notice when it is hard to start.

They have been built with quality materials to improve their performance.

To replace them, once they have been tested, it is necessary to disassemble the rear plate and replace them with a screwdriver. It is recommended to clean the part where they work well.
